Answer 1. My family has experienced firsthand what living with a disability can mean.  My father developed a rare form of bone cancer and had to undergo a bone marrow transplant.  Though his cancer was treated, the side effects of his transplant and treatments left him permanently disabled and unable to work

Answer 2. The biggest barrier for those living with disabilities (as well as those without) in my constituency is, in my opinion, the lack of accessible services available close to home. Traveling to Brandon and often Winnipeg for health care and social services can be very difficult and expensive. I would like to see the development of more health care resources in Brandon, as well as initiatives to ensure that care is easily accessible.
